Geothermal Uses
Geothermal heat pump systems are used in many types of buildings to provide
energy efficient indoor comfort. These include: single family homes, residential single and duplex home developments, apartments and
condominiums, schools, colleges and universities, nursing homes, office buildings, hotels and motels, museums, factories, and many other building types.
The only requirements are space for piping to couple the heat pump system with the ground and acceptable ground characteristics. Open loop systems require a plentiful supply of high quality well or ground water and a good place for water disposal after the heat has been used.
